How long does GeM registration take?

What is OEM authorization and do I need it?
OEM authorization is a certificate from the original manufacturer permitting you to sell their branded products on GeM. It's required only for certain branded categories. Resellers can often avoid this requirement by listing under categories where 'Unbranded/Generic' is an accepted option.
